Parents Care More About OO Than Grades!

A survey by the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education involving 1,500 parents found that parents of infants and young children place greater value on health than academic achievement. The most desired trait in early childhood was “being healthy” (33.1%), followed by social harmony (26.1%), creativity (17.5%), independence (15.1%), and emotional sensitivity (8.1%). When asked about key competencies, parents most often selected self-motivation, followed by consideration and inclusiveness, problem-solving skills, and communication skills.
